Changchun aka: 长春

Woohoo! Been there, done that! :D

I lived in Changchun for 3 years. It isn’t one of the most exciting cities I’ve been to in China, but it was my home for three years and I was very happy there. This was the first city I moved to when I left Canada and it honestly changed my life. I fell in love with China in this city and have had a hard time letting go. The people are amazing and I would love to go back and visit some of my old friends and local haunts. Plus, I absolutely adored teaching in Changchun. My classes were amazing and I miss my students so much! There are some great places to hang out while you are whiling away the hours. The Mayflower and The Coors Bar are loads of fun and have fantistic live music. The German Villa is a great place to escape from city life and the shopping on Guilin Lu is great.

Visit my sister over there! Plan to go this summer.
