Beverley

1. The sculpture and carving at both Beverley Minster and St Mary Church are outstanding.

2. The White Horse pub, better known as Nellie’s dates from the 16th century and is gas lit!

Traditional yorkshire Market town. Huge Minster dominates on end of the town. Lots of little/local shops. A few good pubs, cafes and resturants tucked away.

It has a race course just outside the town centre, on the “Westwood”. The Westwood is a huge bit of common land just 2 minutes walk from the shopping area, wihch cows roaming its grass in the summer.
