My ship was docked here for 5 days for the 60th anniversary of the D-Day Landings. From here we escorted a ferry with the hero’s of the second world war over to the coast of france, participated in a sail past of the Beach heads and was honoured with the opportunity for a 1 on 1 with Prince Charles. Thank You Portsmouth for the Wonderful Memories and all the great experiences I had there. GO HMCS CHARLOTTETOWN!!!!!

i live just outside the city center.there are just soooo many places to visitlike:-gunwarf quays

spinaker tower
commercial road shopping center
d-day meuseam
sealife[bluereef] center
south parade pier
clarance pier
southsea castle
royal marine meuseam
there are an awsome lot of pubs and nightclubs:varying musical tastesfrom dance,r&b,pop 70s disco,my Favorites are subversion@the lounge,,southsea rocks@the frog on the front and chaos@south parade pier..
come along see and enjoy for yourselves..there is a little something for everyone!!!

i grew up there and still work there in gunwhalf, tis a nice place if you know where your going.
well worth a visit for the shopping or the nightlife
