Not worth it!
It’s a horrible place. I ought to know; I go to school there for some bizarre reason.

I didn’t like Liverpool so much.. it was a bit too industrial, IMHO. I liked the city center, but not the rest of the city.. :/

I want to visit Liverpool because I want to feel the atmosphere @ Anfield. Yeah, I know that the chances of getting a ticket to watch a Liverpool match is like 0.0005$%x%x* but I hope I could make it there. Even if it’s at the new stadium.
Oh, that also tells you I’m a Liverpool supporter. I don’t want to say I’m a fan because I just started supporting Liverpool last season of 2006-2007. But like what the BF says, as long as you cringe when we lose and always want us to win, I am a fan. Yes, yes I think I am because even a draw to me is a lose. I can never accept it. I only want a win. I could get all moody and frustrated if we don’t that win that sometimes I don’t feel like going to school in the morning.
Why I say that is because London is -7 Singapore time so I usually tune in at about 2am or 3am etc when they play for the Champions League matches.
I’m slowly becoming a fan okay? At least I know the 1st team players name and faces even though I don’t know the Liverpool FC history. I also can sing YNWA. I have a Liverpool sweater and am planning to buy another and the jersey as well. I must buy the jersey because here in Singapore, every Saturday, it seems whenever I turn, I could see my fellow Liverpool supporters and I could feel the heat and electricity building up. Heh.
Anyways, I heard we have the best supporters so its a must to step in and sing You’ll Never Walk Alone with them.
I also want to get to see the players especially Daniel Agger. I wish, I wish, I wish, i could just get his autograph or maybe a hug or kiss or two. Ha ha.. okay. That’s the reason why I want to go Liverpool.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing there – It’s hot, sweaty and dark… but it’s amazing fun, the Liverpudlians know their music and appreciate good music – I look forward to going back next year!

I spent my days as a student in Liverpool and did all of my best and worst growing up there. I have so many good memories I can’t pick just one. An amazing culture and an incredibly atmospheric city. If you get the chance to go, then do.

I went to Liverpool a little over a year ago. It was ridiculously cold (for a March day), but I had an incredible time. I went to the Beatles museum and when I came out there was a tourguide giving tours out of his van. We drove around and he gave a group of about 8 of us the best tour money could buy! He only charged about 10 pounds and drove us around for about three hours! It was amazing!

Liverpool is now a big university city with students from all over the country and world filling up the pubs clubs, coffee bars and shops the whole place really buzzes especially at a weekend. I suppose I am biased coming from Liverpool, but even after living in Southern Spain for 4 years I am glad to be back here. My personal favourite places are: Swan Inn Wood Street (City centre real ale bikers rock bar), Krazy house (City centre Rock club) and G-Bar (city centre Dance music late night gay bar) these are just a few as there are many many more great night out spots to go. City centre is just in the middle of a massive facelift with new shopping centres springing up everywhere as well.

Tha cathedral is absolutely breathtaking – try and go to an Evensong if you can, because the singing is fantastic. The day I went, they had a 30 year old male soprano who broke my heart, he sounded so great.

“Does anyone know any nice spas in or near the city centre? I'm visiting for a Hen Do and think some pampering may be in order!”
