Carlisle

I went to college in Carlisle. It really is one of the most beautiful cities. Very compact and with transport links to the lake district and scotland, also supposedly very haunted. Especially on Hadrians wall. It’s worth living here, the pace of life is to take it as it comes. The nightlife has improved hugely recently, although it can be quite intimidating on a friday/saturday night sometimes. Always plenty of police about in case though. Really worth living here for getting away from big city life.
