London Calling...  — 1 day ago

Worth visiting!

Owing to the fact that my life turned to complete rubbish in the last month with a lot more headaches than I care to admit, I impulsively booked a ticket to London for Memorial Day weekend. I cannot wait. I’m meeting up with one of my friends from my semester abroad, staying in a fabulous hotel, and plan to explore this great city again. I’m hoping to see a show in the West End this time, though!!

My sister whom is like my best friend moved to London two years ago with her young family. We enjoy being together, talking on the phone, hanging out at the lake home. She often shares with me her experiences living abroad, and how much she is enjoying living in London.

On her Facebook and Flicker pages, the photo’s of the places she’s been are fascinating. I enjoy seeing photo’s of her children in front of Big Ben, the Queen’s castle, in front of The Changing of the Guard. I would love to visit Downing Street, Parliament Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Wimbledon to name a few.

I’m hoping to plan a trip in the coming months to take advantage of having a personable tour guide, wonderful bed and breakfast free of charge and the time I will have with my dear sister.

London is such a shit-hole, its like living in a 3rd world country but with an excellent public transport system. The people are miserable and won’t talk to you, any sign of culture is gone because “multi-culturalism” has destroyed it, everything is too expensive, it’s home to not only savage tribes imported from 3rd world countries with no sense of what it means to be civil, but also self-absorbed, pretentious faggots with too much money to spend and a corrupt 2 party political system where both parties are essentially the same – and the mayor is a liberal white-hating, black-loving homo. The only good thing about London is that it changed my perception of the world I guess and made me realise that so called “progressive” politics is nothing but retrogressive. Also the Royal Family are OK I guess :)

How to Spend a Day in London  — 1 month ago

Worth visiting!

London is one of my favorite cities in the world, and I have spent a fair amount of time there. There is so much to do, see, and experience. One of my favorite things to do is arrive at the British Museum right when it opens and spend the entire day exploring every exhibit until it closes. There is a great cafe for a cheap lunch just across the way from the main entrance. If the weather is nice, get a sandwich for take away and eat it in the garden area in front of the museum
