Vitoria Gasteiz

I went there in an exchange last weekend, and it’s been WONDERFUL!!! :D I loved the place, and what I loved the most were the people!! :D Extremely kind and generous, and so so nice :) I’m looking forward to returning there and meet those wonderful people I met.

Don’t expect your Spanish to get you very far, but people will forgive you if your accent is as bad as mine. Even in the winter, it has one of the best “street atmospheres” of anywhere in Europe. This is not a town where you go to see things, it’s a place where you go to see the town. I suggest a long weekend with at least one day wandering around the town and another driving through the countryside.
