Leiden

There isn’t much to say about this place except that I spent the best days of my life here. It’s so wonderful I can’t even put it into words…

the last time i was in this place i was a baby. this is where i was born and i havnt been there for a while one day i will go back one day

The only reason I went here was to visit a friend, but I fell in love with this quaint city immediately and can’t wait to go back, even if it’s just for some giant pancakes at Oudt Leyden!

Lovely little town.. You feel like you are in a sort of fairytale there… Shoudn’t miss it!

Read one book “Kuntum Tulip Biru” – The Blue Tulip, about this place; fall in love with it.

I’ve been there about 1,5 year ago and I was completely astonished. Beautiful architecture and marvellous canals – definitely worth visiting!

Went to visit a friend back in 2000. Leiden is a very neat university town, and well worth the quick train ride from Amsterdam.

I was there for just about 18 hours, but I was amazed at what I saw. I’ll be going back soon, so I’ll make sure to visit the old part.

And now, 3 weeks later, I’ve been back and gone around a bit on and around the canals, and I can really say I had a good time. It’s a nice place, if a little quiet.

Leiden is amazing. All the architecture and canals of Amsterdam but not quite so wild and with even more wonderful people. Being there is like living in a postcard. Hard to leave.
