Rimini

I had a fantastic time here. Fantastic beaches (I was there is May – warm enough weather but empty beaches, no sure if could be so complimentary in the crowds of the peak season, but they do go on forever with soft white sand.) Main street in cool to walk along (lined with shops selling things like spades and pots!) and there is a fun, laid back atmosphere about the city.

The atmosphere was quite authentic, the old city parts were really charming as well.

Huge piece of advice when traveling there: book your hotel yourself, don’t go on an ‘organised trip’!

I’ve been here in the summer and winter. The Summer is awesome for obvious party reasons but the winter is actually pretty great too. There are no tourists so the locals are more welcoming, not to mention you can move better in the bars. But don’t let the palm trees fool you- this place gets cold!

If you’re female and going on your own…. watch out for the guys, they can be pests!! Although very good looking some of them!

but that was not what i did there! even though that is what all the guide books say it’s known for. we caught all the different trains from that station so that is how i will remember rimini large houses with fences al the way around then and the train station, and a not so clean WC
