As I was told by a Italian friend… " I have never met someone who hasn´t been suprised by the city" and she was right. It´s amazing, magic and a labyrinth at the same time.

Venice is an absolutely beautiful city and I very much would like to visit again. It not just the tourist attractions that make it worth it but rather just the city as a whole. Simply walking around is great. Also the food is amazing.

Venice was...magic by icekat83

Venice was magic! I went there for a single day when I was 15 with my family and loved it. We saw glass blowers which was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen and I felt like I’d stepped in to a fairy tale from when I was a kid with magic all around…one second there was a lump of pinkish glass and the next there was a horse. I have a dolphin I bought there and would go back in a heartbeat!

The Most Beautiful Place I've Ever Been. by Finn

I went 2 years ago with my friend and her mother, who are Italian. A group of us went because another friend of ours was leaving school, and we wanted to give her a really good leaving party.

This was the most amazing place I’ve been to.

I loved it so, so much… I want to go again! I want to go again SO BAD!

Used to live here. by Pancho Villa

I lived here for 3 months for work and it was amazing, but I do think it is a crying shame that there are almost no locals at all, only tourists. That aside, it is a haunting, gorgeous, fascinating place. The food is so-so, so is the shopping, and you will get very, very lost. But it is unforgettable.

Well, I used to go to Venice 3 or 4 times every year with my parents because we have some close friends there (in Malamocco – Lido). So I visited Venice a lot of time!

The last time I went there it was with my boyfriend, two years ago.

It was soooooooo romantic with him :)

It was cold and rainy, and my two day trip here came at the end of ten days of traveling the length of Italy by train, so I was a bit travel weary on top of everything.

The vaporetto made me motion sick, the Grand Canal flooded Piazza San Marco, and the streets were impossible to navigate.

I spent just a few hours in Venezia in the evening but I find it very exciting and enchanted. This is the place where you can get lost two times in fifteen minutes.:) I would gladly go back again for more time to get to know it better.
