They have the best wine in Germany, and I’m not just saying that because my friend is a vintner there! It’s also a truly artful city, and it’s just the right size for its location.

Rheinland Treasure by WayoftheArch

This city is great. Boutique shopping, great food, everything. Right in the heart of wine country. I’ve been visiting Koblenz since I was 9, and now my sister lives there. The Deutsches Ecke is awesome and so is the hilltop fortress ehrnebreitstein. Walk along either the Rhein or Moesel rivers, they meet at the Ecke. Great to go to on your own, better if you have a local guide to show you into the nooks and crannies. If you are there in winter go to a Christmas Markt for some Currywurst and Gluhwine!
