Würzburg aka: Wurzburg

I know Würzburg a little and I visiting the city again and again gladly. Some days ago I red an article about the re-opening of the famous Balthasar Neumann stairway with the frescos from Domenico Tiepolo in the castle of Würzburg. This alone is already reason enough to visit the city in the next weeks. Würzburg is an atmospheric cute little city.

I felt strangely at home… I guess home is where the heart is..

Wuerzburg has worthy sights ranging from the Residenz Palace and the Marienberg Fortress. Though small, these two sights alone make it a worthwhile trip while you’re in Bavaria.
