Halle

It is a nice place although, the Germans there are not as open as Germans from the west. It is fairly small, but still very cool in terms of culture.

Studied in Halle for about 5 years. Wonderful place for students. Lots of different bars, alternative cinemas, theatres and the like. Not too big, not too small. You get to almost anywhere by the tram in short time. City centre is nice, university just a few steps away. Well worth a visit!
