Düsseldorf aka: Dusseldorf, Duesseldorf

was with a man who I thought I would marry. We only saw a few things, and he wasn’t/isn’t the kind of person who’d say, “Hey, let’s check out the COOL stuff off the beaten path”, even though he knew what those places were. Yep, still bitter 10 yrs later. Bastard. Go there, bring cash, and have fun!!!

I lived 2 months in Duesseldorf, probably it was one of the best summer vacations I have ever spent.

I was here for a month visiting a close friend. Really a great city to hang about in… very multicultural.

I have lived in Düsseldorf for about 3 years and I had the time of my life!
To me, Düsseldorf has it all: many green spaces, biking along the river, glamour, style, Karneval, Altbier, decent public transportation, many different cultures & shops to buy things from all around the world (especially from Japan, which is killer if you’re learning the language),...... basically Düsseldorf just has ‘it’, whatever exactly it is…

Because, when my dad travelled to Hungary when I was about 8, he had a stopover in Dusseldorf, and comparing the things he brought back from the trip, the Zwack Unicum was nasty, but the Dusseldorf chocolates were great ;)
