I read Perfume from Provence years ago which piqued my interest in the area. And I want to stand amid the rolling hills of lavender and inhale the intoxicating scent !

Untitled by caitlin1985I spent 7 months here, teaching English in a high school, and although it is a tiny town I never bored with it. The beauty and quaintness of it always blew me away. There is everything you could want, bars, restaurants, nightlife, picturesque alleys and scenery. I hope to be able to get back there soon. P.S. There is nothing better than the chocolate cake and fruity teas at Orienthé whilst puffing on a shisha. You can spend many, many glorious hours there. over 5 years agoNicest town in France by sacredcelticand best-looking girls… over 5 years agoLovely city by dougclintonAix en Provence is a beautiful town. My wife is from Marseille and we usually spend a day in Aix when we are down here visiting her family. Beautiful architecture and great shopping. over 6 years agoSee all 21 entries |
Ask a question Travel questionsLolololori asks,“I'm looking for a bed and breakfast or something cozy like that where I can stay when I go soak up the Provence in march for a weekend...any suggestions? I'd rather not stay in the youth hostel- they've got a lock-out at 1am, etc...just any tips on cheap” over 6 years ago |
