I went to a great pizza resturant and that was the highlight of my stay. For me, wherever I call home today, Brest is home from home. The city is not beautiful, as it was bombed flat during World War 2 and rebuilt very quickly afterwards. But it has a vibe. It is the home of a major tall ship meeting every 4 years, it has hosted windsurf world championships, it counts an amazing number of bars and pubs and it makes a great base to visit the rest of the region, which is beautiful. over 6 years ago |
