Brest

one word describes this place: gray

this city is a perfect place to find many different hues of gray.

I went to a great pizza resturant and that was the highlight of my stay.

I know some people who go to school here, including my gf, and they all say its a pretty gross place and I can see why after seeing it myself.

Been living there until last year… Very nice town, just which it’d rain less :)
And yeah.. I’m French.. I just moved to the USA last year…

Sante! mezv-dall… Hic!

Brest is the most western town in France. I was born there a few decades ago. For me, wherever I call home today, Brest is home from home. The city is not beautiful, as it was bombed flat during World War 2 and rebuilt very quickly afterwards. But it has a vibe. It is the home of a major tall ship meeting every 4 years, it has hosted windsurf world championships, it counts an amazing number of bars and pubs and it makes a great base to visit the rest of the region, which is beautiful.
