Michigan Womyn's Music Festival

I’ve been to Fest twice so far, in 2001 and 2006. I’ve have completely different experiences each time. I camped in a pop-up in a sunny field in a hot summer the first time, this time I was in a tent among the trees. The nights got a little foggy and I was grateful for having brought thermal shirts and a knit cap for mornings.

The days are filled with as much, or as little, music, conversation, exploration, and self-discovery, as you want to engage in. It is a women-only space, which allow you to experience the joys and discomforts of a world like that.

Meals are included in the event ticket and are vegitarian only. Registering for the forums on the festival website allows you access to a world of tips and helpful people.
