I was staying with my step-mother’s sister. It’s a really sweet place.
It was really snowy at the time. I was there for New Year, which we spent drinking champagne on the balcony and watching the fireworks all across France. I remember thinking: wouldn’t this be SO much better and more memorable if I was here in this moment with my friends.
Metz (pronounced [mɛs] in French) is a city in the northeast of France, capital of the Lorraine région and préfecture of the département of Moselle (57). It is located at the confluence of the Moselle and the Seille rivers.
