Though in France, Perpignan’s Catalan culture is brought to the fore on Good Friday each year with the religious procession of “La Sanch” (The Blood) through the city.
Despite the sinister “Klu Klux Klan” look of the pointed hooded priests this is a traditional Northern Spanish ritual.

Was for the first Leeds Rhinos vs Perpignan Super League game in France. Lovely weather and a decent game of rugby!

Wonderful food and Catalan Culture, I lived here for a few months, I suggest checking it out and heading to Canet/Collioure which are both close !

I went to school here for a semester then came back years later to visit my host family and climb. 10 years later it still holds a dear place in my heart.

Friendly people, excellent weather, close to the mountains and close to the beach, good nightclubs, amazing food, and Salvador Dalí declared the city’s railway station the centre of the universe! What more can you ask for?
