Joensuu

there has been built new mall!! “iso myy”

The one and only time I’ve been to Joensuu so far has been work related. I work as a journalist nowadays and during my studies to become one we had to make a television report on something. I decided with a friend of mine to make a report on anarchists. And it so happened that there was a small alternative festival in Joensuu that year (1999?) called “Vastarintafestarit” (Resistance festival). We went there mainly to get inspiration for the whole thing and ended up having a lot of fun. Joensuu is small but cousy, and you can really feel that you are in Eastern Finland. I enjoyed it.

Good Place to Visit, Nice People (most of them)….We met one lady there…We all wanted to get snapped together & we requested to click a snap for us….but she ran away from us….it was quite odd for us….Rest of the trip was ok…Nice domestic Airport in Joensuu….
