L'Abri

If you are looking for a quiet restful yet challenging place to question learn and question some more, consider l’Abri.

Hopefully 17 years later it still feels as unspoilt and Edenic as it did when I made my journey of the soul there.

This is not a vacation; you will work to keep the cost of your stay down. And you are expected to study or focus on your project while you are there. But the work is wholesome and healing, the study illuminating or at least it opens doors to more study. There is music, conversation, and yes sometimes conflict – as always, to be expected with humans in close quarters. But respectful resolutions – if not agreement – is encouraged.

You may never again be surrounded by such natural beauty. You may never before have slept so well.

This is my recollection of l’Abri.
