Still here right now. This city is my #1 pick for re-location so far in South/Central America. The fact that it has a bad reputation is a good thing for us. This place is a hidden gem.

Great museums, public transportation (metro and METROCABLE), people, and entertainment. Lots of poverty but that’s reality and the informal settlements are fascinating (viewed from Metrocable – too dangerous to visit unless with an ong or other official group, and even then…)
