I lived here for 4.5 years. When I moved there I was single. When I left, I was married, I had a little boy and had bought and sold my first 2 houses. Cheyenne is a great place to visit and live.

I wasn’t too happy to be moving to Wyoming from Hawaii at first, but this place really grows on ya! The people are very friendly & I love the clean fresh air & beautiful scenery! True, you do have to make your own fun here, but the nite life is definitely fun! I got to spend 5 yrs there then had to move to ugly old Abilene! I would go back to Cheyenne in a heartbeat!

I went to school here for awhile (middle and high school). It’s a nice small town, with a lot of old/pretty houses and a nice downtown area.
Worth visiting, at least for a few photos and a rodeo (if you’re into that kind of thing).

and I admit it does get boring. But, were not all pawn shops!!! There is a very diverse group of people living here. We have nice cafes and beautiful snow in the winter. You grow to love the scenery after a while. Its quaint. You have to make your own fun, which is the fun of Cheyenne.
P.S. Do come visit Cheyenne during the last week of July! You won’t be disapointed! (Tons of Rides and scary carnies!)

Somewhere along I-90 is a bust of Lincoln on a hill close to Cheyenne. Why? I don’t know. We had to stop and get permits for our truck here. You go in at Cheyenne, leave at Evanston, after you cross the Three Sisters.
