Bismarck

If you are looking for a nice peaceful place to go, go to North Dakota. It is a very nice and peaceful place to spend time at. Trust me, I know, I was born there. I now live in SOuth Dakota, but I plan on moving back to North Dakota soon because it is so peaceful. But don’t take my word for it, go there and experience it for yourself.

to bitch slap some contractors….... my friend is attempting to open a coffee shop and the contractors daily give her crap, but when she comes in to the place with the investor they are all over HIM>>>>> i went through the same crap when i was having my house built. they all act as if a female has no brain.. well gentlemen… i was smart enough to come everyday and inspect your work and find errors and make you fix them … so maybe this lot needs another kind of female to show them the errors of thier ways, if only it wasn’t so far away. damn.

Do you like laid-back places? Bismarck’s got such an abundance of laid-back, I swear, you’ll think you’re in a coma!

i live in bismarck, it is quite a lovely city, its a great place to raise a family, or just hang out for a couple days

I lived here for 14 years, it is very much a small midwestern city. Culturally it can be lacking at times, but it has some beauty to it.

I grew up here. I am also raising my daughter here. It is a safe place to live. I have noworries about living here. I know if needed I could walk down the street at 2am and not think twice about it. A little slow paced as far as the party scene. But you cant have it all right!!

Fargo gets all the attention thanks to a certain movie, but this is really the best stop in North Dakota on a road trip. It’s a bit stark looking at the capitol building which just says “North Dakota Capitol” outside it.. however, the entire Bismarck/Mandan area is really pretty, and has some nice hills.

When I was going to Bismarck from Fargo, I encountered a road Nazi and got a ticket for “failing to show current registration” and going 5 over the speed limit. Other than that, Bismarck is just a boring place to be – other than it’s our state capitol….

Bismarck is a great place. Clean, low crime, and growing like crazy. We are currently in the process of adding: 2 Walmart Super Stores, 1 Sams Club, Lowes, Home Depot (actually just opened a couple weeks ago I guess), Kohls, Pet Smart, and others. (all at once).
