Frankfort

Lovely slice of podunk.

Why on earth?? ;p I lived there for about 6 months and it is definately not worth visiting. Not a damn thing to do!

I spent roughly 20 years there, and roughly 8-9 years away. Even now I can’t think of one thing in Frankfort that is so unique and unbelievably cool that I recommend a trip. Sure, if you’re in to the history and government of a commonwealth, or you’d like to see how Walmart, like a giant tumor, can make a whole town lopsided, by all means go. Maybe you’re just really fond of the quiet and oppressive flavor of dumb conservatism. If so, great, have at it. Some would say that Frankfort made me who I am—hardly, unless you consider frustration, anxiety, hopelessness and rejection great social nutrients.

Bitter? Me? not unjustly.

I do know the town pretty well, and could maybe give you a best of, but don’t expect it to be inspiring.
