Dover

It’s funny to see people loving Dover – I grew up here and thus find it pretty hellish – I guess that’s the same for everyone, where it’s in your face all the time you don’t appreciate it.

It’s a beautiful town. The people are friendly and the castle is bloody gorgeous! We spent a whole day there. In the castle, not the town…

white cliffs are gorgeous

I loved Dover. Nice people and beautiful buildings and scenery.

Enjoyed my trip over, and got some excellent views on our arrival…

I’ve always been fascinated by the White Cliffs of Dover. No reason….I just feel drawn to them. That and the coast of northwestern France. It’s wierd.

Often you over look the cliffs on your way to you destination (whether it be france or England) It only takes a second to get there from the port and it is worth the time. It is a big part of American and British history. This is one of my husbands favorite places.

I saw these while traveling by ferry from France to England.

When you stand on the beach, and if it is a clear day, you can see France, just across the way.
