and proud as I have been strolling through the neighbourhood these past few days. I get a lot of weird looks. And yet, every day there is a good reason for to sing it loud:

Memo to the producers of the Cops television show, for a small upcharge I’ll even translate the lyrics into Spanish for you… and then because we’re in Barcelona where the primary language is actually Catalan (don’t worry, they translate everything into at least 3 languages around here), for a slightly larger upcharge I’ll translate the lyrics into Catalan for you!

I’m just saying… you could wrap a whole season here without much effort. Just think, it’s Europe baby! You can get beer anywhere, drink it anywhere and there are nude women on the beach. What more do you need to know? And the police here are on the same side as the men and women of law enforcement in the US of A.

That if I was a location scout for the television show “Cops” that I would have filled the quota for location shoots to fill a whole program season just by visiting here.

I have been reading the newspaper, but it’s already stuff that I have already seen the past few days: a dead body, police moving in to bust a prostitution setup or a drug operation, police setting up before an operation, police chasing people, police pulling cars over and questioning people.

OK Cops producers! How about a Euro version?
