I lived there for a year the people were very friendly.
Is the Hotel Las Americas still open on Calle Hidalgo?What about the Copa de Leche?It used to be the only bar open in the centre at night.
I used to think it was great the children boxing outside the cathedral on a Sunday morning,not very PC,mind you PC and Mexico don’t really go together.

Still not great but better.

It was alot of fun. Having friends there was a huge help of course. The t-shirt weather was so nice I would have enjoyed just sitting at the park across the street the whole time. I found the mom and pop diner and learned a little more Spanish each day. The bus tours were a great way to get out and explore. Very reasonable prices. I took care of business and had a lot of pleasure. I’ll go again same time next year.

its been years sice i went there but i will always remember the church in the middle of that plaza. i still dream about that place sometimes.
