Naha

Nice area, great for shopping and good to check out Okinawan culture. I stayed here for 4 days but you could easily stay 2. There are some buddhist gardens close to the city centre that are definately worth checking out.

My fathers parents came from Naha in Okinawa. I’d like to see it before I die, and hopefully trace some of my roots, maybe find out what my great grandparents life was like.

There is a little Jazz club there. Or was there in the mid 80’s. It was called Cams House. Maybe Cahms House. Great live music.

While stationed in Okinawa I would go to NAHA on the weekends to party. The Whole Island is beautiful
