Adana

I loved this place. I was stationed at Incirlik for a year. Wonderful people and all kinds of historical places to explore.

I was serving with the Royal Air Force at Incirlik when Adana suffered the 6.3 scale earthquake. I remember that there was a lot of damage in Adana.

I spent two months there in total and really enjoyed the area. Adana was a bit run-down but the locals were very friendly and I had many a great meal there. Not exactly a prime holiday destination but worth a visit for certain.

...very near the Air Force Base of Incirlik. I enjoyed my stay there and ate many new Turkish foods. The Turkish people are, in general, very kind hearted people. Adana is fun.
