Mérida aka: Merida

It’s a very nice town ^^
The history museum is very, very interesting.

very well-preserved remains of the old (25BC) Roman city
such as the theatre, the amphitheatre, the very long bridge over the Guadiana, a vast circus, and lots, lots more, including the newish museum.
You can buy a `bono’ for entry to all the monuments. Allow at least two days to visit them all.
I had an enjoyable, though exhausting, visit.
