We were in a small club beside our hotel drinking $0.25 beer when my friend got up to use the washroom. I had to go also but I waited for him to get back.
There was a local heading to the washroom in front of me and when he got to the doorway he unzipped and while standing in the hallway peed into the room onto the floor. I hung back and started checking out the non-existing artwork on the walls until he finished and walked away.
Well I was damned if I was going to actually step into the room. So looking left then right to ensure the coast was clear I stood in the hallway and peed into the room also.
When I got back to the table I asked my friend if the floor had been wet when he went, which he answered, “yes, looked like they just washed the place out”. All I told him that night was that he better pack his shoes in plastic before putting them into his suitcase.
The people are super friendly and I enjoyed all 2 weeks there. I found the hard boiled eges the children were selling on the streets were OK to buy and eat if fully cooked.
