I wish that I could give you another recommendation. I wish that I could tell you to visit the falls near M’Baiki or where the great restaurants are out by K5 (Kilometer 5). I’d love to encourage you to watch the sun come up over the hills of Zaire (okay, the DRC) and barter with the fisherman out early on the river. I just can’t.

The C.A.R. is a beautiful country that has been put through the ringer. The country has been unstable for a long time and it is one of the poorest nations in the world.
