Lome

A poor city in a poor country. Nothing to see, really. Infrastructure is decaying, what little there is of it. The country is too poor to be set up for tourism. The beaches are nice to look at but are giant outdoor toilets and high crime areas at night. I lived in this country from 1996-98 and visited Lome often during that time. Accra in Ghana is a better place to visit.

First Afrian city I ever visited. There are great beaches here and it is pretty nice for a West African city.
