Plymouth

it wasn’t so much plymouth that changed my life as much as the fact that it was my first experience living overseas, and i still miss my friends there intensely, and living by the sea, and the night life…etc…

I grew up here, and my parents still live there. It is great, especially in the summer. You can go to The Hoe and Barbican and see old cobbled streets, the huge Aquarium with sharks, and take a trip around Plymouth Sound. Sir Francis Drake, the stripy Eddystone lighthouse, pasties, and a surfy feel in the summer! Wembury nearby is good for surfing, not very sandy though. I used to live there too! The first time I was in Plymouth I was precisely 0 seconds old!
I was evacuated during the second world war and then went back until I left for University at 18. It was a great place to spend my boyhood.

The one day I spent there was perfect, beautiful sunny weather and a fun day with friends by the sea.

for ten weeks in the summer, every thursday evening, i travel down on the train to play basketball. Every one who is in school is aiming to get far away, but this hasn’t detered me from wanting to go to Marjons one day, yet

I came here to go to univeristy, and it is the best city ever!

Alot of my family is from England and when we went back afew years ago we stayed with my uncle who lives in Plymouth. It is such a beautiful and interesting place and I can’t wait to go back(and see the moors again).
