Untitled by Alan CordovaThe city itself is quite unattractive, but it’s a necessary jumping-off place to the spectacular Mongolian countryside. over 5 years agoUntitled by Ian GA place of outstanding natural beauty, where the harsh unforgiving climate can see a temperature change of 30 or more degrees in a single day. I visited briefly in the summer of 1992 when the government would not give us longer than a three day transit visa. I have a number of friends living and working in Mongolia.
