Hope you like ham and stayin’ up late, and spicy Spanish hotties, and signs saying “Hemingway slept/ate/barfed here.” No really, Madrid is super cool, and don’t miss the Goyas and Bosches in the museum!

I lived in Madrid for a year… and i can confidently say that it is my favorite city in all of Europe. While you will get more warmth from the people and culture in smaller towns and further south in Spain, the city of Madrid is absolutely gorgeous and there will never be a lack of any type of activity… be it jazz bars, tapas, cultural festivals or just laying on grass watching clouds go by.
I take a big breath and feel like I’ve come home everytime I step out of the airport or bus station there.

I planned a trip to Madrid in 2004, then there was the bombing and I couldn’t get in because travel security was crazy. I think I still have my city guide book.
My brother loves Real Madrid, so maybe he should go to school in Spain, and we can visit all the attractions all over the country.

I missed 2 business trips to Madrid in a year! I cannot imagine that this is actually happening to me. Everything seems so close yet so far. When I found out that I’m going to Madrid, I did a lot of research on the place & etc… I even dreamt about it! I guess I really fall in love with it. The disappointment is so great! It’s like breaking up with someone even before the relationship started! From then on, I have decided to add this place to my ‘to visit’ list.

Madrid is the most beautiful city ever seen
Madrid is very beautiful, because there are magnificent monuments besides its good restaurants. I’m writing this text about Madrid because I am interested in its climate and agriculture. The attractions in Madrid are marvelous, for example: the stadium of Real Madrid (Santiago Bernabeu) and its parks, Madrid has a lot of beautiful and big parks.
Its climate is hot and the summer is dry, this is why it has lots of tourists. The climate helps the city’s agriculture; the agriculture of Madrid is composed of: grains, olives, citric fruit, wheat, vegetables, sugar, beats, cattle, pork, poultry, dairy products and fish.
Madrid’s population is big and its terrain is very big, too. The area is 505.954km² and the population is 3.155.359. There are also a lot of people, 3.6 million.
I believe that Madrid is marvelous, but not the most marvelous city, it’s not a good city to live in, it is a good city for tourists. Madrid is a city for every kind of person because it has parks, soccer fields, museums and a lot of monuments.

Be careful with pick pockets. In the city center there are a lot and it’s eaasy to get robbed in special if you’re tourist and you don’t speak Spanish.
I’ve been living there for more than twenty years!

Great relaxing city. Lot’s to do. Lot’s to see. Great parks to sit down and enjoy the people walking by. Great food also, it’s like their world is only about eating and meeting friends at bars.
I would go back, just as I would go back to Barcelona but I still have so many places to go…
