Travel is easy in Athens. Get a daily metro ticket at EUR4 and you get to travel all around Athens in all public transport. Greek myths and archeological sites are quite fascinating. We didn’t know where we were going so we just picked random restaurants off the street and none of them was disappointing. And the ice cream too :) over 3 years agoWorth a longer stay by accentjimAlmost everything we looked at told us “Spend two days in Athens and then get out!” I could have spent much longer there! We had a wonderful time and only saw the smallest bit of what is available. Is it dirty? It’s a city, so of course it is, but it’s got a lot of personality.
