Wyoming!
Well, when I was planning my route across the country to hit all the states I’d never been to before in the lower 48 states, I somehow forgot Wyoming. Sadly, I only made it 6 miles in to the city of Evanston. The town itself was quaint, had a nice visitor’s center and State Park right there. It was a short trip, but one worth taking. A happy overview of a state yet to truly be discovered!

My family
has decided that Thayne, WY would be a great place to have our next multi-generational family reunion.
None of us are from there or anything but my Gypsy Aunt & Uncle just put a trailer on some land they bought up there. So now people from 5 different states get to trek out that way and stay in a motel.
Again, this year, one of the cousins will have a newborn baby to deal with. My Aunt never had kids so I really don’t think she fully gets what it’s like to travel with a tiny baby.

Beautiful state, I lived there during the winter. Snowy cold. :-)

The first time I went to this place
I saw tons of wind generators all in a row. I also stayed at the Holiday Inn at Rock Springs. Very different from the Midwest, where I spent my whole life in (this was on a cross country drip moving from IL to CA). It’s very beautiful, though I can only speak from my experience during the summer. I want to go back again and see it all properly next time!
