I live in Oregon so I have been to Washington many times. Its very similar to Oregon so naturally I love it. I have family abd friends that live in various parts of the state. Its a beautiful and green place.

Another trip down the drain...  — 2 weeks ago

I was supposed to go to Seattle last weekend to visit my friend Katie, and I was so terribly excited. We were planning, and I was going to get to see one of my good friends… and I got a great rate on the flight! It was going to be perfect. Two weeks before my trip, I got laid off from my job… I had thought that I would still go on the trip… but I talked to the people at my previous job, and they only way they would rehire me is if I started immediately… so Seattle had to be put on hold. I am so disappointed. I was really looking forward to it.

A year of canceled trips… meh.

Seattle is not only a fabulous place to visit, but a great place to live. I have met people who are not from Washington and say they have visited Seattle and if circumstances allowed, would choose to live there. I have never met anyone who is from Washington and didn’t want to continue to live there. Although I live in LA for school, I too plan on returning. I love the NW culture!

    I'm going!!!  — 2 months ago

Owing to the fact that I had to cancel my trip to Koln due to a family emergency… I have been a bit restless with the travel bug. When I saw a really cheap fare to Seattle in a few weeks, I decided to snap it up. One of my friends from high school/college is working on her Phd in Seattle, so I am going to visit her in April. She came to visit me when I was studying in Florence, and we had a marvelous time together. I also have a lot of family up in the area, so perhaps I will get to see them as well! I couldn’t be more excited! I’m going for a long weekend. The only thing I have on my agenda so far is Pike’s Market. If anyone has any suggestions, I will definitely take them!

I was kind of crazy when I left college. I moved to Puyallup to be closer to a guy I was in love with who was in the army. We split up while I was there, but there was so much majesty and the landscape is picturesque. The people I met weren’t very friendly, but it might have just been where I was located. Seattle was fun. The underground tour was really neat. I went to see Mt. Rainier and Mt. St Helens. I spent a good amount of time working in Seattle Center three blocks from the Space Needle and the Puget Sound was absolutely breathtaking.

I was so excited. I had never really been to anywhere that had mountains that I had to drive through. It was scary and yet it was thrilling as well. I was able to tour Seattle and the Northern part of the state. I loved seeing Deception Pass and Pugent Sound is breathtaking in the spring.

This was the only place I’ve ever been to for a business trip. I went there to train for a job, which I didn’t stay at for very long but it was an experience. It’s a nice place, seattle is fun, Pikes place has a really great chilli place (or it did back in 00’) I wouldn’ mind going back
