So, my best friend moved to Redmond, WA to work for Microsoft. I decided that I needed to not just visit him there, but drive there from Pennsylvania. Not only was I going to drive there, but I was going to hit every state I had never been to along the way. As Washington was the midway point for my trip, I was getting pretty burnt out. But let me tell you, I saw things in Washington that just made me happy. Snow-capped mountains, a bald eagle sitting on a light post, NINTENDO!, Microsoft, Seattle, used book stores, the list goes on! I had such a wonderful visit. Everything from the Washington sillouhettes on the state route signs, to something as simple as a town named George (George, Washington).
