Pennsylvania

I moved to Wellsboro back in 2001 to stay with my future husband. I moved there in July and we actually slept with no AC because there was no humidity. I was in culture shock when the first snow started in October and it didn’t let up until April the following year, but I loved PA!!!!

I’m here right now…so far I have not a bad thing to say about this place..but my heart is in Maine…I think PA is a great place to vacation though xD

Pittsburgh is where my heart is. Truthfully, the love of my life. Philly is pretty rad too. I have a few really good friends here.

Pretty good place to visit, especially in the summer..

I was born here, the last time I went was to visit my “biological” dad who I had just found out about, probaly a year or so again… complete waist of time…

I will leave him and this place in my past where it belongs

Pennsylvania is really a food lover’s dream. I went on a trip to Lancaster with my mom and grandma. The food was delicious. I’ll never forget the restaurant that we went to on the second night. The pies were the most delicious pies that I have ever tasted. It was the first time that I had ever eaten Shoo-Fly Pie, and I am now hooked. I couldn’t get enough of it.

There are two other food related places that I want to go to in Pennsylvania some day. I absolutely want to visit Hershey, PA. Hershey’s chocolate is my mom’s favorite chocolate, and so far from all of the chocolate that I have tried so far, I would have to agree with her. They say that you can smell the chocolate in the air. That sounds like a wonderful place to go.

Another thing I want to try is a Philadelphia Cheese Steak from Philadelphia. My dad told me that he had gotten one from a street vendor, and it was the best cheese steak he had ever eaten. I have been through Philadelphia a few times, but like New York City, I never took the time to actually experience all the city has to offer. I definitely want to do that some day.

Another state I drove through a few times. Again, very pretty, but I’d like to see more. I’d really LOVE to see a Steelers game at Heinz Field.

Back in 1986 I visited Gettysburg as part of a Washington D.C. trip. Gettysburg is a place everyone should visit.
