It smelled like onions... by DerJon

…for the first 20 miles. Then things started getting mountainous. I was very happy to see normal sized trees, especially after my thousands-of-miles trip through the south. There was an amazing part of I-84 that came winding down the mountain into a town. I’ll never forget it. It had 3 warning signs to truckers, a weigh station with 3 MPH signs up (a tie for the slowest speed limit sign I’ve ever seen (5km/h in Prague)). It was so cool, I video’d the entire trip down, even though that was definitely not the safest thing to do….

My parents got me a ticket to Portland Jan 09 to see two of my best friends that live there. I wish I could have stayed longer then the 4 days I was there, because there is so much to see & do!

I found it to be such a beautiful place, that I just can’t WAIT to go back!

I came back! by nutmeg43

After 6 years in exile in Texas, I’m finally back. When I came to visit for my house hunting trip, I was nearly in tears as I visited the places I had loved before – the nature park, the library, the wonderful food. It’s great to be back.
