I want to visit orth Carolina because my older penpal (I know him 7 years !), who is wonderful (his name is Eli) lives there, in a little village. I have never travelled out of Europe, but I dream of visiting him one day in the farm of his parents.

For anyone visiting or new to NC and love live music, the best places (towns) are Chapel Hill, Fayetteville, Durham, Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Asheville. Just about any night of the week you can catch a fantastic local band, a great regional band, or national band even in any of these towns.

Fayetteville has Jester’s which is a totally wicked place to go, and also my favorite, for metal, hard rock, and rock. They host a variety of local, regional and national acts. Additionally the sound there is amazing, it’s not all muffled like a lot of places.

Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh has a lot of great locations, just about anywhere you choose is guaranteed to offer up an exciting night of live shows. The Lincoln Theatre, The Brewery, and Volume 11 in Raleigh are all three great places. Chapel Hill has Cat’s Cradle, Local 506 and many others that are also great. Durham, the scene has died out a bit, but with a little looking you’re bound to find a place hosting your interest.

Charlotte has many places, but the best I’ve found has been Amos’ Southend and The Tremont. Both of which are large venues that host a wide variety of local, regional, and national bands with fantastic sound and lighting.

Greensboro and Winston are like Durham and Raleigh, many great places, just a matter of what kind of music you want for the night. Ziggy’s in Winston Salem is well known for its variety.

North Carolina, has the best of everything. We have a true seasonal change. With warm summers and plenty of beaches and lakes to enjoy them at. We have crisp beautiful leave changing falls brilliantly displayed in the mountains. We have cold winters with snow. We also have sweet springs, filled with beautiful flowers and wildlife. We have mountains, valley, plains, and beaches. A wonderful state for sure.

Half of my family lives in Minnesota, and the other half lives in North Carolina. It’s great fun to visit them and they live in a gorgeous state.

Sliding Rock is a great natural waterpark if you’re into that sort of thing.

The first time I went here I was 11 and I went there with my aunt and uncle. I went to Outer Banks and had a blast. I went to the ocean every day and I found tons of beautiful seashells, and a sharks tooth. Every day was beautiful, with clear blue skies. The ocean waters were warm and it was great surfing water except one day when there was rip tides and I almost got suck out into the ocean lol. Besides that I had fun swimming, boogie boarding, para- sailing, kite flying, bike riding, riding four-wheelers, riding horses, going to lighthouses and the many other activities outer banks had. Also the shopping was fun!

North Carolina is the state to move to if you want to find a husband. I read in a magazine that the ration there is 10 men to a woman. She gets her choices down there.

Little hippie art town in the middle of the mountains! Vegan friendly! Great for a weekend. Just park and wander around and eat and shop and check out museums and art galleries. Nice place to take kids as well. Try Rosseta’s Kitchen anytime & Laughing Seed for Sunday brunch!

Take note – I am allergic to patchouli but do not have any issues any time I go there! I know that sounds silly – but just waking into a store with patchouli in the air makes me sick for hours and hours.
