Odie’s big sky café, Troy – Montana: good food for fair price and the old fashioned interior makes good for a laugh. Recommended!

My fiance and I are thinking of taking our honeymoon in Montana. We’ve never been but always wanted to go. It’s so beautiful we’d love to spend some time there.

I made a new friend while he was in town on business. It seems we had much in common. He invited me for a visit and turned me on to my first hunting trip. Montana will always be one of my special places becasue of my many firsts there. New state, New Friends, First Hunbting Experiance, First Buck. Montana is a truely beautiful place I hope to return many times.

The western third is beautiful mountains; great for skiing and camping. If you’re at all interested in the history of the West, Montana has some great museums.

The Lady of the Rockies is a beautifully spiritual experience.

The eastern third is for those who like unconventional beauty. It’s commonly known as the “Badlands.” I grew up just a few blocks away from Makoshika State Park and would ride my bike out there at least once a month while growing up. The area is not flat so much as less mountainous. It is more canyons and gullies than mountains and valleys. :)

If it is the last thing that you do Go to Glacier national park, seeing is believing, winter really isn’t the greatest time to go, the roads will be bad and you can’t really see the Glaciers.

The land in Montana is unlike that anywhere else in the world—simply stunning. Go to a dude ranch and spend a week of your life riding horses through the fields and mountains. You will never want to go back to ‘civilization’.

We have friends there not too far from Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. Its easy to make a trip when you already have somewhere to stay.
