i was disappointed i didnt get to see all the things i wanted to see

I met the love of my life here.

I was born in Elgin Illinois, lived in Great Lakes, and have traveled through Chicago Many times.

One of the best cities in the world.

I live here. But love my state and city nonetheless, even if our governor is a crook.

We were driving through on a road trip. I don’t think I’ll ever forget seeing the arch :D Wish we had stayed longer.

Chicago has so many places to visit!

Cold, wet, windy…ugh. Not to mention I went there with my roommate and found out that most of his friends thought I was some California wierdo or just plain hated me.

Nothing like meeting his now-overweight neighbor to which he confessed an unrequited love for. I believe she felt the same, for she treated my like something she’d found stuck to the bottom of her shoe.

So, yea. Illinois. It can burn in hell.

Last summer my mum and I were supposed to take a road trip up to Chicago.

Needless to say, that didn’t happen.

However, I still plan on going sometime in the near future, like for college or something.

Either way, I’ll get there somehow.

I used to live in Chicago. I grew up in Chicago…and lived there my whole life, until things got too out of hand…and now here I am in Alabama, of all places…

I will always remember the life that I once knew. I wish I could just go back and return “home”. Even though Alabama is where I reside, Chicago will always be my home.
