Florida

I’m currently doing my undergrad here.. UM :) I really like it.

Niiiiiceee beaches.

...kinda reminded me of south Texas.

My trip to Florida was at a point in my life where I was experiencing a lot of firsts. It was the first time seeing my father’s new life in Florida, it was my first time on a plane, my first trip alone and my first trip outside of the areas I have traveled to growing up.

A lot has happened in my life before and since this trip. Taking a solo journey alone strengthens the spirit and makes you trust yourself more.

I like Florida. I love the open sky and the warm of the sun on my skin. My trip was pretty busy so I plan to take another trip where I plan be a tourist and see and do the things I want to do.

I recommend going to Florida at least once in your life. As a city girl who grew up in the country it was like being home.

Basically, it’s a pretty awesome place.
Everyone’s really nice and obviously, Disney is amazing :D
We may be going a third time, it’s that good, haha.

I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and can’t imagine being anywhere else. I have a deep and profound love for the Gulf of Mexico. There is no other place I wish I was born at or that I want to die at.

I used to live in Ft.Lauderdale before I moved out here to Chicago. I went back last year to Orlando to go to Disney World with my bf. That was the last I’ve been in Florida, but I’m definitely going back this summer!

I’ve been from Jax to Boca and from Sarasota to Daytona. My favorite place in Florida is St Augustine. I love it for the old city, the beaches, the Cuban bakery and its daily soup, for Dreamstreets on Hypolita Street where I can while away hours just browsing. Florida offers so much for everyone, whether you are 3 or 93, there is something there you will find to love!
