Love Bocas so We Moved Here by sophiebabe1

We traveled to Panama from our former home on Maui many times before making the big move. Bocas is lush and ocean is everywhere. Its a great place for snorkeling, diving, surfing and exploring nature. Most people are very kind and the sense of community is strong. Its true that if you like Cancun you very probably will not like tiny, laid back Bocas.

Visited it january 07 went with some friends I had the best time ever, i still get exited everytime my friends and i get together. we stayed at a friends house and tried to spend just 5$ for lunch and 5$ for dinner (we worked it out). Really cool place to visit if u like crystal water beaches, water activities, and being in direct contact with nature. The nightlife is good too, there r 2 discos and several bars. U get to meet lots of plp too if u r open to the experience. The locals r usually really nice and try to help u in everything they can.

*Sunsets in isla carenero are great!
