Bocas del Toro

Its still a little out of the way

Visited it january 07 went with some friends I had the best time ever, i still get exited everytime my friends and i get together. we stayed at a friends house and tried to spend just 5$ for lunch and 5$ for dinner (we worked it out). Really cool place to visit if u like crystal water beaches, water activities, and being in direct contact with nature. The nightlife is good too, there r 2 discos and several bars. U get to meet lots of plp too if u r open to the experience. The locals r usually really nice and try to help u in everything they can.
*Sunsets in isla carenero are great!

This was the highlight of my trip to Panama.

but wonderful, like in paradise

BEAUTIFUL. There is much to explore that I didn’t see, of course, but the little I did was amazing. Clear Caribbean waters offered fantastic snorkeling, and I saw the most beautiful fish I have ever seen – plus an eel :) Where I went in Bocas was a beach town that was very tourist friendly. Netcafes averaged a dollar or two an hour.

I’ve lived here for over a year, and still haven’t seen 1/10 of what I want to see… So much to discover.

And such a unique lifestyle…

I have 3 whitewater kayaks at my place in Bocas and am looking for someone to paddle with… Contact me if interested. I’ve paddle the Changuinola from Corte Culebra, and want to do it again, and there are some other trips I have planned.
