Baja California is a wonderful place to scuba dive, you can met there large shoals of fish, a lot of sea-lions and hammer-headed sharks. The best season to go there is between September to November.

chocolate clams with butter and garlic over a campfire  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

Was camping down in Baja, on the beach, close to Mulege. A secluded protected cove. Saw dolphins. Kayaked and snorkelled. Wouldn’t recommend snorkelling in the winter unless you have a wet-suit, lots of little jellyfish. Anyway, the tide would go out, way out, and you could go “clamming”. Found chocolate clams, cooked them on a camp-fire with butter and garlic and was one of the best meals of my life.

I tagged along on a surf trip with my boyfriend and his three friends. We camped for $5/day in a small town called Cuatro Casas. The desert landscape and spectacular ocean views were beautiful.

How this place changed my life  — 1 year ago

I kayaked a good portion of the Sea of Cortez in Baja California through NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) and it was the most amazing experience of my life…the dessert, the mountains, and the sea. I found strength and serenity in myself.
