Northwest Territories

It was a very cool experience. Literally. I worked there back in 1996. The wind chill meter that we had was off the scale @ -72. So, we really don’t know how cld it was, but it was FN cold!

I actually ended up with Hypothermia… It was a very wierd feeling…

A good experience though.

Contrary to popular belief, the NWT are NOT full of snow and ice year round. In the summer the place is gorgeous – full of tons of trees, some great lakes for fishing and camping and TONS of wildlife. Believe it or not, there are even waterfalls up here in this supposedly baren and ugly part of Canada! I would definitely recommend a visit there if you’re into any camping—just make sure you aren’t in a tent … there ARE bears!

I would love to live here in the summer if the misquitoes didnt eat people. Untill there is nothing left of the people. Except for big misquitoes. Misquitoes people i calls em.

the arctic is truly one of the most mystical and fantastic places i’ve ever been. i recommend it to anyone.

I visited my best friend in NWT. She was 6 months pregnant living in a pink shack. We played trivial pursuit and drank tea, and at midnight we’d climb the hill and look at the sun. Beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful.
